"Strictly Come Dancing" will hit the road again in 2010 after its phenomenal success in 2009! Meet the Stars at the O2 in London on the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th of February.
As seen on the BBC, the "Strictly Come Dancing" Show presents numerous celebrities paired with professional dancers. An exciting atmosphere, created by fantastic live music, stunning costumes, blazing disco-balls, and comedic feedback from the judges. With an average of 8.7 million viewers, "Strictly Come Dancing" is one of the most successful live dance shows broadcast on UK television.
From Cha-cha to Foxtrot to Salsa! The audience should be prepared to witness one of the most successful live dance extravaganzas ever performed. Every pair consists of one celebrity and one professional dancer, who compete against the others. After performing two different styles of dance, the contestants face the judges (which can be as excruciating as it can be entertaining) and can be eliminated at the hands of not only the judges, but also viewers voting via telephone.
The celebrities for "Strictly Come Dancing" 2010 have been announced:
- Kelly Brook: Known from movies such as “The Italian Job” and the first season of “Smallville”
- Austin Healy: The famous rugby player (currently plays for Bishop’s Stortford), known for achieving the highest score for a “Paso doble” during the 6th season of "Strictly Come Dancing" and the highest male Cha-cha and Tango scores throughout the series.
- Mark Ramprakash: The English cricket player who was selected to play for England at the age of 21. In a special edition of "Strictly Come Dancing for Sport Relief" on 14 March, 2008, Ramprakash and partner Kara Tointon were the winners after performing a samba.
Judges: Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Arlene Phillips, Bruno Tonioli
