The Notting Hill Carnival is London's most vibrant celebration of cultural diversity, colour and sound. Every year, on the last weekend of August, the carnival spills onto the streets of Notting Hill—the largest festival of its kind in Europe! Immerse yourself in a world of colour and performance!

Starting as a local festival, the Notting Hill Carnvial was organized by the West Indian and Caribbean immigrant communities as a means of strenghthening the sense of fellowship and dissolving the realities of racism and discrimination. Today, it is a celebration of the harmony between diverse cultural backgrounds, foods and music!

The carnival usually starts on Saturday with the Great Band Competition, followed on Sunday with a day oriented towards children (our future). Spend an extraordinary day off and have fun with your children and your loved ones.

The event comes to a grand finale on Bank Holiday Monday the main parade takes place and the streets of Notting Hill swarm with on-lookers. Take the opportunity to see such an amazing show on the streets of Notting Hill!
