"La Clique" is a spectacular melange of several performances: cabaret, new burlesque, circus, acrobatic and more. No by chance "La Clique" is now the proud owner of the 2009 Olivier Award for best entertainment.

It is a mixture of all kind of performers acting out in the same show.

Denis Lock and Hamish McCann two delightfully devilish and cordial “English” gentlemen. The two skilled Australian tumblers get the public to love them with their balance, strength, humour and sex appeal. Comedy comes from Mario: The Queen of the Circus. The juggling rocking Mario is a superb entertainer. He perfectly knows how to interact with the audience as no other.

Supple, sexy, skilful and stunningly handsome Bret Pfister from New York combines cabaret with his air hoop act, funny and acrobatic! Equally inspired by the neo-Weimar cabaret movement and the new-wave, synth-pop sounds of the 1980s, he blends awesome physical skill and a cool insouciance into his exquisite, punked-up aerial ballet. Then there is the oldest couple of "La Clique" Wanda Azzario and Pierre Poissonnet. They spin at breakneck speeds, disregard gravity and have been amazing audiences around the world with their breathtaking roller-skating act for over 27 years.

Directly from Sydney, Marawa Ibrahim is both sleek cabaret artist and cheeky clown. A virtuoso of the Hula Hoop and a demon on skates, she has dazzled on stages across the world, her unique brand of coquettish comedy charming and amazing audiences in equal measure. Amy G is a legend of the cabaret scene. She is a physical comedienne, actor and musician of prodigious anatomical gifts. She had the legs, the skates, the ukulele, and what she can do with a kazoo will astound you. Last but not least Le Gateau Chocolat. She is a diva with an amazing voice who sings pop, jazz and musical theatre. Le Gateau Chocolat has performed at many prestigious venues including The Royal Opera House, London and Copenhagen Opera house.

Making audiences laugh, blush and gawp since its creation at the 2004 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, La Clique has since played 20 seasons across the globe with an ever-changing line-up of weird and wonderful, sexy and eccentric acts, picked up from all over the world during the company’s travels. The show is live at The London Hippodrome in Leicester Square and is playing until Saturday 27 June 2009, when the venue closes for redevelopment.
