La Cage aux Folles George and his lover Albin have been happily living together for the past twenty years. But when George's son becomes engaged to the daughter of a right-wing politician, they prepare for an imminent visit from the in-laws by taking drastic (and hilarious) measures to hide their lifestyle. But will it work?

La Cage aux Folles is the deliciously hilarious musical that celebrates homosexuality, the fight against intolerance, and above all, how to deal with family. This theatrical gem inverts family traditions and gets to the core of the fundamental values that we all share as human beings.

Relatively speaking, this musical is one of the longest running due to its continued popularity. It won six Tony Awards for its world premiere at Broadway's Palace Theatre in 1983. Now you can experience this timeless hit on-stage at London's Playhouse Theatre with outstanding performances by Roger Allam (Les Miserables, City of Angels) and Philip Quast (Evita).

Seat numbers

  • At this moment, we are unable to tell you your seat numbers when booking tickets. Anyway they are assigned by the theatre as soon as you book your tickets and will be the best available at the time of reservation. All seats booked in the same price group will be together in the theatre. However in the very remote event of this not being possible we will call you and give you the possibility of cancelling your reservation.
  • Tickets are allocated on a first come first serve basis with the best available seats being allocated first.

  • Please make sure that all of the details are correct when booking as a change of date is not permitted.
  • All sales are final and are not refundable in the event of cancellation.

Ticket delivery

  • Your tickets will be held for you to collect at the venue's box office one hour before the performance. Please remember to bring along the voucher from your confirmation email.
  • Tickets can be posted to you if requested to the address specified in your booking.
