Buddy Holly, stage name of Charles Hardin Holley, had been one of the most famous and young rock and pop artist of the fifties. The musical "Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story" is running at the Duchess Theatre in London until 14th of February 2009. Because his short but wonderful career, ended in tragedy, Buddy Holly has become an icon in the musical panorama worldwide. Buddy can be defined as pioneer of the rock and roll music, his songs in fact, have been a real inspiration for the following songwriters generations as John Lennon and Paul McCarteney.
