The legendary band, the Beatles, were made up of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, and formed while still in school in 1950s Liverpool. They honed their skills abroad in Germany shortly before gaining noteriety in the sixties. And the rest, as they say, is history - in this case, a huge milestone in the history of music!

The O2 Arena

The O2 Arena, formerly the controversial Millennium Dome, has truly come into its own as one of Britain's most fabulous entertainment venues. Now home to various buildings and entertainsments such as a VUE cinema, the IndigO2 Club and an array of bars and restaurants, the O2 Arena has become a fabulous place to be.

The closest tube stations are the North Greenwich or Canary Wharf on the Jubilee line. Alternatively, London Bridge on the Northern and Jubilee lines is only a 10 minute walk away.

The O2 is also served by several bus routes (108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486). Or take a boat! The Thames Clipper runs a new O2 Express service!
