The Woman in BlackThe Woman in Black is the hugely successful musical based on the horror novel by acclaimed writer Susan Hill. Performing live at London’s Fortune Theatre, it has consistently sold out since its first appearance in 1989.

A young lawyer named Arthur Kipps is called to the small English village of Crythin Gifford to witness the funeral of Mrs Alice Drablow. During the funeral he notices an eerie woman dressed in black (hence the title). From that point forward he is haunted by disturbing noises and quickly comes to the conclusion that his life and the safety of his family is in great peril... .

Seat numbers

  • At this moment, we are unable to tell you your seat numbers when booking tickets. Anyway they are assigned by the theatre as soon as you book your tickets and will be the best available at the time of reservation. All seats booked in the same price group will be together in the theatre. However in the very remote event of this not being possible we will call you and give you the possibility of cancelling your reservation.
  • Tickets are allocated on a first come first serve basis with the best available seats being allocated first.
  • If you would like to request specific seats please call us at +44 (0) 800 11 234 55 and speak to one of our agents.
  • Please make sure that all of the details are correct when booking as a change of date is not permitted.
  • All sales are final and are not refundable in the event of cancellation.

Ticket delivery

  • Your tickets will be held for you to collect at the venue's box office one hour before the performance. Please remember to bring along the voucher from your confirmation email.
  • Tickets can be posted to you if requested to the address specified in your booking.
