Written by acclaimed crime writer Agatha Christie, The Mousetrap appeared for the first time in 1952 and has been playing for over 50 years, making it the world’s longest running play.
Hotel owners Mollie and Giles Ralston receive a nasty surprise when they discover that one of their guests has been murdered and, together with the other hotel guests and a police detective, try to work out who the culprit could be. Rack your brain and try to figure out who the culprit could be in this classic 'whodunit'. One of the cornerstones of 20th Century mystery plays, The Mousetrap is a play that every theatre-goer should see at least once in their lives.
The current production at St Martin’s Theatre in the heart of London’s West End is performed by an excellent cast and led by a very experienced director. The energy and passion with which the actors execute the play make The Mousetrap an entertaining event for audiences young and old – anyone who loves a good old fashioned murder mystery.
