The O2 announced three more Kings of leon concerts at the O2 Arena on Monday 15 June, Tuesday 16 June and Tuesday 30 June! After the sold out concert in December at the O2 Arena, the band is looking forward to go back to this amazing venue.

Kings Of Leon was formed in 2000 and signed their first record deal in 2002. The band from Nashville - Tennessee - consists of the three brothers Caleb Followill (lead singer and guitar), Nathan Followill (drums and vocals), Jared Followill (bass guitar and vocals) and their cousin, Matthew Followill (lead guitar and vocals).

In childhood the three Followill brothers learned how to play bass, drums and guitar while performing gospel songs in the church. Since then a lot happened to the Kings of Leon Brothers. In 2008, they recorded and released their new album "Only by the Night". It became number 1 in the UK Albums Chart straight after its release and stayed there for four weeks. At the moment the album has already been sold almost 1,6 million times (5 times platinum)!

The first single from their new album “Sex on Fire” is the best selling download single ever in the UK. They have beaten Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love", which sold over 547.000 downloads. With the super hit single “Sex on Fire” Kings Of Leon won a Grammy for "Best Rock Performance”! In February 2009, the band Kings Of Leon also won two Brit Awards for "Best International Group" and "Best International Album".

Now Kings of Leon is coming back to the UK! Three new concert dates were announced at the O2 Arena: 15, 16 and 30 June 2009. Kings of Leon will be performing hits from their album "Only by the Night" such as “Sex on Fire”, “Use Somebody” and “Charmer”.
