Joseph is Jacob's favorite son and for this reason the father give to him a beautiful and colorful new coat. The 11 brothers are so jealous that decide to sell Joseph as a slave. Back home, they convince Jacob that Joseph were been killed, and they show him his coat smeared of blood. In the meanwhile, Joseph is become a slave for the powerful and rich pharaoh Potiphar in Egypt.

Because of a series of misunderstandings and turns of events, Joseph is first jailed. Joseph's ability to translate dreams, causes him to be released from Potiphar because he needs Joseph's help to become the most powerful man in Egypt second only to the Pharaoh.
