Jersey Boys is the heart-warming and compelling true story of four working-class guys from New Jersey who create the band The Four Seasons lead by Frankie Valli and who set out to realize the American Dream. But every dream has an awakening; the Jersey Boys are no exception. There is no better way to showcase their struggle against betrayal, the cruel world of show biz, and to overcome the test of friendship, then by doing what they love most: playing music!
The Jersey Boys have dominated London's West End since its debut at Prince Edward Theatre. Based on the book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, Jersey Boys the musical conquered Broadway in 2005 and has been a box office hit ever since. In 2006, it won four Tony Awards for Best Musical and met explosive success across the United States and the rest of the globe, the UK included. Directed by Des McAnuff and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, Jersey Boys is accompanied by the music of Bob Gaudio with lyrics written by Bob Crewe.
